Geraldine Lee’s professional career has encompassed directorial roles in marketing and business development in retail (import and distribution), as well as project management in the field of art and design. Her interest in art was piqued following a foray into the Singapore Art Museum Docent Training Programme that led to a stint as the museum’s Docent Co-Head of Student Programming from 2011-2012. Geraldine is also an independent art writer. She has studied at Sotheby’s Institute of Art in London and is a member of the Association for Art History. Geraldine’s research interest is on Japanese post war and contemporary art and her M.A. thesis focused on Japanese contemporary photography.
