Masterpieces is an ongoing Southeast Asian creative project pairing regional artists with the latest digital technology. Launched first in Singapore, this collaborative curated initiative is experimental and open. Invited participants are encouraged to explore Samsung’s tablet and the S pen in any way they choose. The result is an explosion of ideas, methodologies, and iconographies that speaks of Singapore artists’ ability to both harness and be inspired by technology. Embracing digital technology and communication channels, the 36 Masterpieces participants discover formal and conceptual languages that are both innovative and accessible.

This exhibition is curated by Iola Lenzi and features artists from Singapore and the region such as Boedi Widjaja, Chen Kunyi, Chen Sai Hua Kuan, Dawn Ng, Ezzam Rahman, Gilles Massot, Jason Wee, Jasper Yu, Jeremy Hiah, Joan Kelly, Joel Yuen, Joshua Yang, Karl Kerridge, Kelly Reedy, Lee Wen, Lim Shengen, Marcel Heijnen, Marienne Yang, Mark Wong, Miguel Chew, Milenko Prvacki, Nadia Ali, Natasha Wei, Robert Zhao, Rofi, Ruben Pang, Ruyi Wong, Samantha Tio, Sean Lee, Sheena Aw, Shubigi Rao, Stella Chang, Susie Wong, Tay Wei Leng, Urich Lau and Zero.
