"The study of history is to undercover new knowledge to make tomorrow better." – This was the statement that sparked Howie's interest in art history. With Singapore becoming a global hub for art, he sought to increase his understanding of Singapore's unique art history through the MA Asian Art Histories programme at LASALLE College of the Arts.

Jenevieve’s interest in art history began with a visit to the Port Cities: Multicultural Emporiums of Asia, 1500-1900 exhibition at the Asian Civilisations Museum. Adeline graduated with a Bachelors in Fashion and Textile Art from Curtin University of Technology in Western Australia, with a focus on wearable art and soft sculptures. She is an educator with certificates from the Harvard Graduate School of Education and Central Saint Martins, and is co-founder of art studio brave new worlds, which runs programmes with a focus on Southeast Asian artists.
