Theresa is a leader in change management practices in the Asia region, and her interest in the study of art histories is in how artists respond to change. As a general committee member of The Peranakan Association of Singapore (TPAS), Theresa’s research interest is in modern and contemporary Peranakan art and how artists respond to Peranakan economic, social and political environments in history,
Claire Aitken graduated in 2013 with a BFA in Visual Arts from the University of Victoria, British Columbia, Canada. She returned to school after seven years as a photographer and commercial gallerist to pursue a BA in Art History and Visual Studies (Honours) from the same university. Her main areas of interest are feminist theory and the works of female contemporary artists in Southeast Asia.
Vanessa Yeo graduated with a Bachelors in Business Administration from Singapore Management University. She also attained her Certified Information Security Manager qualification and is currently working in fintech engagement and innovation. Her appreciation for visual art has led her to pursue critical research on sculpture in Singapore. She hopes to extend that research into sculptural practice across
