Joanne Ngeow recently completed an MA in Asian Art Histories at LASALLE College of the Arts. She explored the works and practice of pioneer Singapore artist Tang Da Wu. Joanne's background is in biomedical science and she enjoys exploring the parallels and intersections between biomedical science and the visual arts. She hopes to continue bringing the two fields closer together through joint workshops,
Masturah Sha’ari is the co-founder of Maya Gallery, an art gallery with a focus on Singapore and Southeast Asian art. An accomplished designer with 25 years of experience, she has designed numerous publications. As a visual artist, her paintings have been exhibited in Singapore and Malaysia. Masturah holds a Bachelor of Arts, majoring in Economics and Malay Studies, from the National University of
Mak Han Feng is currently a researcher at the Centre for Chinese Language and Culture at Nanyang Technological University. His research interests are in photography, environmental art, history of photography, contemporary pop culture and music. He is also a practising photographer, with his most recent show held at the Pingyao International Photography Festival in 2019.
Ashwariya Khemka is from Mumbai and has always been interested in learning how society functions and what the role of art is in the context of modern society and its problems. This led her to study art history and examine how artists as activists can incite change. Her MA thesis focuses on violence in contemporary India.
